He was predeceased by: his wife Nola Mae Johnson; and his grandparents, Marvin, Norma Hobert, Bob and Iva Barnett.
He is survived by: his parents, Daryl Barnett and Barbara Barnett (Hobert); his children, Morgan (Renee Harris) of Charles City, Benjamin Barnett of Hibbing, Rebecca Haavisto (Tim) of Virginia and Danika Barnett of Charles City; his grandchild TJ Haavisto; and his brother Kelly Barnett (Paula).
