With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virgil Van Stelton of Inwood, Iowa, who passed away on November 14, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Stelton and Henrietta Van Stelton (Beyer); his wife Carol Van Stelton; and his stepmother Margaret Van Stelton. He is survived by: his daughter Shelli; his son-in-law Andrew Rens; his grandchildren, Lydia, Garrett, Collin and Cora; his son Jeff; his daughter-in-law Lindsey Van Stelton; and his grandchildren, Max and Emma.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers you honor Virgil by placing a plant in your garden next spring.
