With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Starr Ferraro of Inwood, Iowa, born in Larchwood, Iowa, who passed away on September 29, 2022 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James A. Phelan and Lenore Phelan (Hoeck); her husband Angelo Ferraro; and her sisters, Mary Ann Dobinski and Patricia Zimmerman.
She is survived by: her siblings, John Phelan of Spokane, WA and Judith Hill of Denver, CO. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
She also donated hundreds of sweaters and hats to the homeless shelter and was recognized as volunteer of the year.
