Rodney Kooima Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodney Kooima of Inwood, Iowa, born in Hudson, South Dakota, who passed away on January 16, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Kooima and Bertha Kooima (Boscaljon); his wife Bonnie Jo Vande Weerd; and his siblings, Henrietta Siemonsma, Kenneth Kooima and William Kooima.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Wheeler (Mark) of Inwood; his grandchildren, Dustin, Alyssa, Katelyn and Erika Van Beek; his great grandchild Addison; and his sisters, Anna Halma of Inwood and Marilyn Rus (Lorn) of Rock Valley.
Social distancing protocols will be followed and masks are highly recommended.
Memorials may be given to Inwood First Reformed Church.
