With solemn reverence, we commemorate Leona May Haack of Inwood, Iowa, whose life came to an end on February 18, 2025 at the age of 93, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Timmerman and Mattie Timmerman (Dirks) of Rock Rapids; her husband Larry; her siblings, Bill, Benhard, Fred Timmerman, Marian Timmerman and Marge Schmahl; her sisters-in-law, Audrey Timmerman, Shirley Timmerman and Mary Timmerman; and her nephews, Mike, Steve Conley and Jon Timmerman.
She is survived by: her son Jerry Haack (Laura); her grandson Joe (Maranda); her great grandchild Zariah; her daughter Sheri Swank (Todd); her grandchildren, Luke and Avery (Abigail); her brothers, Walt Timmerman (Betty) and Harold Timmerman (Lyda); and also Karli Haack. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Porter Funeral Home - Inwood (102 S Main St, Inwood, IA 51240). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church (302 S Oak St, Inwood, IA 51240).
Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association or a local mental health charity.
