Eleanor Carol Schemmel Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Carol Schemmel of Inwood, Iowa, who passed away on January 19, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cernie Hemness and Eva Hemness; her husband Richard Schemmel (Dick); her sons, Steven E. Schemmel and Todd Steven Schemmel; her grandson Todd Twombley; her siblings, Crystal Howard (Jerry), Leota Madland (Bud) and Glenn Hemness (Lois); and her sister-in-law Betty Bol (Fred).
She is survived by: her family, Steven E, Kandiss Kay and Todd Steven; her daughter Kandiss Anderson; her grandchildren, Lauran LoPrimo (Christian), Tyler Twombley (Mary), Lindsey Twombley (Mike Slaton), Victoria Anderson and Erik Anderson; and her great grandchildren, Benjamin LoPrimo, Connor Twombley and Sebastian LoPrimo. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and many wonderful friends.
The family requests memorials be directed to Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Inwood or St. Croix Hospice.
