It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wilma Rothfus (Indianola, Iowa), who passed away on November 19, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

Though Wilma may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Wilma touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Malcolm Larr and Lillian Larr (Stone); her husband Harold Rothfus; and her grandson Tony Pezzetti. She is survived by: her daughters, Kitty and Patricia (William) of North Carolina. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Peterson Funeral Home (415 School St, Carlisle, IA 50047). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 2:45 PM to 3:00 PM at the Scotch Ridge Cemetery (13075 Scotch Ridge Rd, Carlisle, IA 50047).
