He was predeceased by: his wife Eileen Tomlinson; his parents, Wilbur Tomlinson and Anna Tomlinson (Barr); and his siblings, Rebecca Smith (Dale), Wilber Tomlinson Jr. (Joyce) and Virginia Sechler (Wendell).
He is survived by: his children, Kathleen McKay, Muriel Pemble (James) and Walter Tomlinson (David Ross); his grandchildren, Aaron Pemble, Elizabeth Hogan (Lex), Michael Hemsworth (Cealey) and Timothy Hemsworth; his stepgrandson John Pemble; and his great grandchildren, Abyee, Gideon, Molly, Sawyer and Fallon Hemsworth.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Heritage Room at the Village (1203 N E St, Indianola, IA 50125). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials in memory of Bill may be given to Indianola First United Methodist Church or Camp Wesley Woods and Retreat Center. Following is the Memorial Tribute put together by John Pemble.
