He is survived by: his children, Gary Hansen of Iowa City, Kathy Horner of Des Moines, Cindy Slaybaugh (Don) of Guthrie Center, Tami McCool (Bill) of Waukee and Sherry Rhoades (Randy) of Guthrie Center; and his grandchildren, Kourtney McComb (Jerome), Justin Slaybaugh (Tabby), Amanda Steffensen (Ryan), Nick McCool (Beth), Mallory Cunningham (Jesse), Zach McCool (Whitney), Maleah Strauser (Gunner), Chelsea Baudler (Billy), Cerissa Smith (Ben) and Keaton Rhoades (Brey). He is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren.
