She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Smith and Jeanette Smith (Ennen); her brother Keith; her brother-in-law Ken Pfile; and her grandparents, John, Katie Ennen, Andy and Effie Smith.
She is survived by: her siblings, Wanda Smith (Chris Shafer) of Mount Horeb, Wayne Smith (Carolyn) of Ankeny, Barbara Stagg (Jeff), James Smith (Terese) of Woodbridge, Virginia, Edward Smith of Chariton and Kristin Olson (Bill) of Indianola; her nieces and nephews, Tiffany Smith, Lindsay Johnson (Isaiah), Jessica Wulke (Brett), Lisa Stagg, Derek Stagg (Jayme Smart), David Stagg (Stephanie), Heather Smith, Matthew Smith, Lauren Olson, Landon Olson, Joselyn Muir, Jayden Muir and Avery Stagg; and her close friend Harold Williams.
Memorials may be given in memory of Shari to Mission Cancer and Blood at John Stoddard Cancer Center, Medora United Methodist Church or the Indianola Athletic Booster Club.
