He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his daughters, Dawn Michelle Brumwell (Gary) and Lisa Erb (John Wanamaker); his sister Mary Lou McCoy (Carl); and his grandchildren, Alexander and Catherine.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Rod may be given to Warren County Habitat for Humanity or Heifer International.
