Richard Lee Goode Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Lee Goode of Indianola, Iowa, who passed away on February 22, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Goode and Helen Goode (Trotter); his parents-in-law, Delbert Brown, Sr. and Lois Brown; and his siblings-in-law, Jason Brown, Jay Brown, Delbert Lee Brown and Linda VanWyngarden.
He is survived by: his cousin Larry Champlin; his wife Mary Ellen; his daughter Mariha Henle (Jason); his granddaughter Cheyenne Goode; and his sister Rosalee Greene (Les). He is also survived by four step-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Overton Funeral Home (501 W Ashland Ave, Indianola, IA 50125). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Overton's Funeral Home (501 W Ashland Ave, Indianola, IA 50125).
In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Richard may be given to the family.
