She is survived by: her husband Paul; her children, Kevin Peterson (Shelley), Nicole Onken (Jamie), Thomas Peterson (Laura), Bradley Peterson (Ashley), Grant Horton (Heather) and Adam Horton (Shawna); her grandchildren, Abigail Peterson, Bradley Applegate, Ryan Applegate, Lucas Peterson, Alex Onken, Elsie Onken, Charlotte Gould, Taytem Allbaugh, Bryher Horton, Eloise Onken, Benjamin Peterson, Maxwell Peterson, Elliott Peterson, Lucille Peterson, Beckham Horton and Liam Peterson; her mother Della Miller; and her siblings, Diane Hougland, Deb Peterson, Rock Miller, Tim Miller and Nett Schaffer.

Memorials may be given to Heal House in Indianola in her name.
