He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney Metz and Loretta Metz; his son Michael; and his brothers, Donald Metz, Lester Metz and Herbert Metz.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Metz; his children, Gary Metz (Betty), Dave Metz (Michele), Edward Metz (Cheryl) and Brenda Hollars (Gary); his grandchildren, Andra Metz, Jessica Westbrook (Adam), Victor Metz, Crystal Metz, Nicole Metz, Samantha Canler (Steven), Conrad Metz (Brittany), Austin Metz, Danielle Clark (Colin), Cassie Hollars and Nathan Hollars; and also Wilfred. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren that he adored; many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Memorials in memory of Duffy may be given to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Indianola.
