She was predeceased by: her parents, Beecher Spurgeon and Bertha Spurgeon (Smith); her husband Orton; her siblings, Bobby Spurgeon and Mary Jane Withrow; and her children-in-law, Diane Davison, Jim DePauw and Kay Davison.
She is survived by: her sister Shirley Fowler; and her children, Richard Davison (Joy), Brenda DePauw, Mark Davison (Lynda), Brad Davison (Shelley) and Penny Huss (Kevin). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.
Memorials in Marvelee's name may be made to the Indianola Church of Christ.
