He is survived by: his wife Maude Bishop; his children, Marjorie Norris (Merrill) and Mark Bishop (Julia); his grandchildren, Jason Norris (Cara), Kyle Norris (Jessica), Andrea Gallagher (Matthew), Lindsay Fick (Tyler), Mackenzie Johnson-Bishop and Avery Johnson-Bishop; his great grandchildren, Evangaline "Evie" Norris, Paisley Norris, Decker Norris, Elliotte "Ellie" Gallagher and Avery Gallagher; and his brother Dean Bishop (Maria Olga). He is also survived by nephews and friends.
Memorials, in memory of Martin, may be given to Redeemer Lutheran Church or Iowa Lions Foundation for KidSight.
