With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marie Ann Anderson Menken of Indianola, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 10, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Thornes and Eunice Thornes (Weitzell); her husband Edward; and her great grandchildren, Devonte and Lane.
She is survived by: her husband Don Menken of Indianola; her children, Terri Mason (Larry) of Toledo, Tammy Bradley (Gary) of Chelsea, Stanley Anderson (Heidi) of Grimes, Crystal Gray (Neil) of DeWitt and Amy Willy (Steve) of Cumming, GA; her grandchildren, Zac Zimmerman, Ann Blasnitz (Willie), Carmen Zimmerman, Kellee Klostermann (Russ), Dustin Dunton, Kayse Dunton, Codee Gerlach, Courtney Shryock (Jerid), Lindsey Hergenrader (Sean), Bailey White (Sean), Sydney Slinkman (Jesse), Peyton Woods (Austin), Alecca Bolen (Seth), Reece Willy (Agata) and McKenna Silverman (Cole); and her sisters, Carol Plum and Peggy Keen (Juan). She is also survived by twenty-nine great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
