He was predeceased by: his parents, John Newell and Katherine Newell (Campbell); his stepfather Ray Baker; and his son-in-law Allen Henry. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Newell (Newman); his children, Cindy Henry, Traci VanderLinden, Todd Newell (Ute), Eric Newell and Laura Davison (Tim); his grandchildren, Amanda Henry Nelson (Tim), Emily VanderLinden, Jared VanderLinden (Kelley), Blake Henry (Rachelle), Mallory Wells (Martin), Hannah Byers (Joe), Darren Newell, Caroline Newell, Tessa Newell, Chase Davison and Piper Davison; and his siblings, Robert Newell (Bob), Phil Newell, Betty Allen and Richard Newell (Marilyn). He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given, in Ken's memory, to the American Legion Post #165 in Indianola.
