She was predeceased by: her parents, John Engstrom and Frances Engstrom. She is survived by: her children, Edson Hoffman (Liz) and Matt Hoffman (Gina Petersen); her grandchildren, Alaina Wolfe, Hunter Hoffman (Clarisa Rivera), Madison Hoffman, Taylor Kress, Megan Mutch (Devin), Lauren Kress (Andy Langohr), Sabrina Schmeichel (Jacob), Bailey Hoffman, Macie Hoffman, Lydia Hoffman and EJ Hoffman; her great grandchild Calvin Schmeichel; her siblings, Eddie Engstrom and Kay Moreno; and her sons, Paul and Jason.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to University of Iowa Children's Hospital.
