He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Franken and Margaret Franken; and his brother-in-law Herb Hage. He is survived by: his wife Julie Franken (Bunkers); his daughters, Angie Franken and Amy Jenkins (Greg); his grandchildren, Carly Dycus, Clayton Hildreth and Kaylee Jenkins; his great grandchildren, Crew and Axel Dycus; and his siblings, Harley Franken (Mary) and Delora Bahnson (Dusty).
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church (210 R63 Hwy, Indianola, IA 50125). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gathering Overton Funeral Home (501 W Ashland Ave, Indianola, IA 50125).
