With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jack Richard Harvey of Indianola, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 17, 2025 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jack Richard Harvey to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Marja; his parents, E. Raymond Harvey and Mildred Harvey; and his siblings, Frances, Leo, Russ, Bill, Jim, Kay and Pat.
He is survived by: his children, Mari Harvey and Jeff Harvey (Cheryl); his grandchildren, Natasha Prindle (Daniel), Jonathan Harvey (Heaven), Jenn White (Matt), Daniel Llewellyn, Bryan Llewellyn, David Llewellyn and Cody Hoover; and his great grandchildren, Tanner, Kinley, Tate and Kinslee.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Overton Funeral Home (501 W Ashland Ave, Indianola, IA 50125). A memorial service was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Jack may be given to the Indianola Knights of Columbus or Indianola Public Library.
