George Stephen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Andy, Norma Froedge, Paul and Shirley Polson. He is survived by: his daughters, Haille Bettuo (Shadow), Brittany Hopkins (Tyler) and Erika Armstrong; his grandchildren, David Goodell, Draven Ross, Peyton Ross, Skye Goodell, Emily Hopkins and Abigail Hopkins; his parents, Curtis Dean and Beverly Dean; his sisters, Marcia Partin (Andy) and Stephanie Dean (Josh); and his nieces, Allie Partin, Samantha Partin and Olivia Hansen.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Overton Funeral Home (501 W Ashland Ave, Indianola, IA 50125). The military honors will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the family in Steve's memory for a contribution at a later date.
