We bid farewell to Donald Richard Menken of Indianola, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 18, 2025 at the age of 83. Donald Richard touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Everett and Lela Marie Menken (Smith); his wife Marie Anderson; his siblings, Jim, Francis and Carolyn; and his nephew Jared.
He is survived by: his children, Deanne Sharp (Gene) and Dennis Menken (Melanie); his grandsons, John (Desiree) and Jacob; and his siblings, Gordon Menken (Shirley), Ev Fink (Bob), Marty Menken (Karen) and Doug Menken (Val). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and their children.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Heritage Room at the Village (1203 N E St, Indianola, IA 50125).
