She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Leverne and Edith Lavon Thompson (Hayes); and her siblings, Donald Thompson (Betty) and Nina Hoeksema (Jay). She is survived by: her children, James Berkley (Lynn) of Indianola, IA, Anne Berkley-Wright of Des Moines, IA and Barbara Berkley of Georgetown Township, MI; her grandchildren, Chelsea Gregerson (Joey), Courtney and Cierra Berkley; her sons, Elijah Wright and Samuel Hoeksema; her great grandchildren, Hailie and Alex Gregerson; her stepgrandchildren, Madison Ward and MacKenzie Paulson; and her sister Cathie Hanson (Jon).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Kiya Koda Animal Shelter in Indianola or the American Cancer Society.
