He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Dick and Burdena Pettengill (Kelley); his son Donald; and his sisters, Peggy Hall and Nancy McKim.

He is survived by: his wife Gladys Stevens; his children, David (Vivian) and Sandra; his grandsons, Zachary, Issaac (Carrie) and Matthew; and his brother-in-law Gary McKim.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Peterson Funeral Home (602 E Salem Ave, Indianola, IA 50125).
