She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Arthur Wilkins and Anna Maude Wilkins (Cox); and her sisters, Joyce Harlow and Thelma Amos. She is survived by: her husband Allan Herrick; her children, Michael, Michele, Mark and Melissa; her grandchildren, Joshua Klein (Karri), Misty Dorman (Ben), Dylan Stuflick, Nina Nell (Anthony), Heather Houston and Dakota Hall; her great grandchildren, Logan Klein, Abigail Bratko, Isabelle Klein, Inara, Malak Dorman and Harper Futch; and her sister Linda Freeman (Donald). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Overton Funeral Home (501 W Ashland Ave, Indianola, IA 50125). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at the Ioof Memorial Gardens Cemetery (1202 S Jefferson Way, Indianola, IA 50125).
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Carolyn's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
