It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty G. Nelson of Indianola, Iowa, born in Henry, South Dakota, who passed away on March 11, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwin Kittelson and Harriet Kittelson; her husband George Nelson (Bob); her son Scott Nelson; her grandsons, Kirk Nelson and Tyler Nelson; and her great grandchild Brayden Ilse.

She is survived by: her sons, Dan Nelson (Deb) of Olathe, KS and Jim Nelson (Teri) of Ackworth, IA. She is also survived by five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Betty.
