He is survived by: his wife Pat Offerman of Independence; his children, Jill Saumell (Rafael) of Huntsville, TX, Joni Gupta (Vik) of Menlo Park, CA, Julie Offerman of Independence and Jamie Offerman (Angie Happel) of Lamont; his grandchildren, William Saumell, Benjamin Saumell, Isabel Saumell, Mohan Gupta and Sachin Gupta; his siblings, Margean Gardner (Craig) of Marion, IA, Sharon Robertson of Marion, IA and Kevin Offerman of Manchester; his niece Natalie Tschechaniuk (Emily Beard) of Brooklyn, NY; and his nephew Philip Tschechaniuk (Abby) of Cedar Rapids, IA..
