She was predeceased by: her parents, Claus Peters and Belle Peters (Jansen); her husband Glen Martin; and her siblings, Melvin, Lyle, Howard Peters, Donna Mae Peters (Connie) of Washburn, IA., Velma Arnette, Eunice Crosser and Sharon O'Neal.

She is survived by: her sons, Curt Martin (Deb) of Independence, IA and Dwayne Martin (Molly) of Independence, IA; and her sister Judy Lympus (Jon) of Cedar Rapids, IA.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Reiff Family Center - Independence (216 3rd Ave SE, Independence, IA 50644). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
