She was predeceased by: her brothers, Loyal "Buster" Gates and Raymond Gates. She is survived by: her former husband Kenneth; her sons, Larry Miller (Rita) of Minnetonka, MN, Allen Miller (Karen) of North Aurora, IL and Joel Miller (Sylvia) of Robins; her stepchildren, Julie Lenius (Mike) of Independence, Janie Kimball (Alan) of Independence, David Brace (Judy) of Independence and Doug Brace (Kathy) of Cedar Falls; and her close friend Duane Werger of Independence. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.
