Greathouse (Independence, Iowa), born in Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on October 8, 2019, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee and Iola Maud Greathouse (Shannon) of Jesup; and his son Patrick. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen; his children, Joe Greathouse (Kristin) of North Liberty, Stephanie Olney (Dewayne) of Solon and Susan Slade (Jim) of Cresco, Iowa; and his siblings, Ron Greathouse (Pam) of Washington, Ross Greathouse (Roberta) of Waterloo, Iowa and Ruth Behrens (Clark) of Rock Island, Illinois.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
