He was predeceased by: his parents, Bridget Burns (Short) and John Burns. He is survived by: his siblings, Dorothy Callahan (Lloyd), Donald Burns (Anne) and Shirley Whitney (Robert); his wife Doris Burns of Manchester; his children, Christine Clendenen (Hiawatha), John Burns (Susan), Jerald Burns (Lisa), Marion and Cheryl Burns Vito (Steven); his son-in-law Ray Clendenen; and his close friends, Don Reck and Terry Fairchild. He is also survived by five grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
