He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Elmer and Louise Emma Crawford (Holle); his wife Catherine Blanche Weiss; his daughters, Sherrie and Cathy Crawford; and his siblings, Earl Crawford, Caryel Crawford, LaVon Fisher, Wylmarie Rasmussen, Norine Crawford and Donna Manson.
He is survived by: his children, Greg Crawford (Sue) of Des Moines, Connie Leibold (Robert) of Strawberry Point and Cindy O'Loughlin (Paul) of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Sarah Cledwyn of St. Paul, Andrew Crawford of Ankeny, April Gross (Steve) of Woodward, Dawn Malloy (Tony) of Williamsburg, Nick Leibold (Meghan) of Strawberry Point and Abby O'Loughlin of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin; his great grandchildren, Hannah Crawford, Mia Crawford, Theodore Cledwyn, Helen Cledwyn, Chase Malloy, Morgan Malloy, Nathan Gross (Alica) and Stephanie McCurdy (Matt); his great great grandchildren, Norah Gross and Campbell McCurdy; his brother Don Crawford of Independence; and his sister-in-law Anna Mae Crawford of Independence. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, social distancing and masks are suggested at the visitation and service.
A Memorial Fund has been established for Cedar Valley Hospice and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
