He was predeceased by: his son Joshua; his parents, Alfred Bainbridge and Modesta Bainbridge (Bazinette); and his siblings, Wayne, Lyle, David, Marilyn, Darlene and Marsha.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon Bainbridge (Kirby) of Independence, IA; his children, Shawn, Shane Bainbridge of Omaha, NE and Tiffany Bainbridge of Brooklyn, NY; his grandson Finn Bainbridge; and his siblings, Gary Bainbridge (Peggy) and Sandy Busch. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and countless friends.
