He was predeceased by: his brother Joseph Wendling (Little Joey); and his mother-in-law Pamela Black. He is survived by: his parents, Louis C. Wendling and Shirley L. Wendling (Ferreter); his wife Lisa Marie Black of Independence, IA.; his children, Karter of Independence, IA., Sawyer of Independence, IA. and JorgieRae of Independence, IA.; and his sisters, Kayleen Hornbrook of Ankeny, IA. and Barbara Wendling of Independence, IA..
