With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard L. Axline (Independence, Iowa), who passed away on October 4, 2018 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett A. Axline and Lillian A. Axline (McMillan); his daughters, Teri Bagby and Jodi Axline; his son-in-law Tom Bagby; his grandchild Daniel Harris; and his siblings, Junior Axline and Shirley Torson.

He is survived by: his wife Pat Axline; and his daughters, Gale Harris (Dave Harris) and Billie Jo Zimmerly (Tom Zimmerly). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.
