He was predeceased by: his parents, Menh S. Chuong and Sin Denh. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Chuong of Independence, IA; his children, Vicky Chuong (Stephen Farmer) of Houston, TX and Alan Chuong of Independence, IA; and his siblings, Ben (Linda), Charley Chuong (Tracy) of Grinnell, IA, Paul Chuong (Sendy) of Iowa Falls, IA, Simon (Juan), Roland (Jenny) and Sharon (John). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
