She was predeceased by: her parents, Amel J. Melvin and Anna A. Melvin (Schmitkonz); her siblings, Bill Melvin and Barb Siggelkove; and her son-in-law Mike Clinton.
She is survived by: her children, Machelle Straw (Paul) of Central City, IA, Tim Walztoni (Heather) of Cedar Falls, IA, Cynthia Walztoni of Independence, IA and Scott Walztoni (Cassie) of Independence, IA; and her brother Jim Melvin of Janesville, WI. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, thirty-nine great grandchildren.
