With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary A. Klotzbach of Independence, Iowa, born in Sioux City, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 6, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, F. J. "Bud" McMahon and Elsie McMahon (Paulsen); her brother John Robert; her husband Bill; her siblings-in-law, Kate Risk and Donald Risk; and her nephew John Risk.

She is survived by: her children, Karl Klotzbach (Kim) of Dalton, WI, George Klotzbach (Karen) of Ames, IA, John Klotzbach of Independence, IA and Sarah Dickinson (Jeff) of Papillion, NE; her grandchildren, Hannah Klotzbach (Grayson Nielsen), Liam Klotzbach (Olivia Mayne), Katie Klotzbach (Jason Baalke), John Klotzbach (Peyton) and Erin Dickinson; her great grandchild Calvin Baalke; her niece Janet Kohlmeyer (Mark) of Guttenberg, IA; her nephew William Risk (Vicky) of Tempe, AZ; and her pet Charlie.

A memorial fund has been established and will be given to organizations close to Mary's heart.
