We are sad to announce that on May 17, 2024, at the age of 85, Marion Rau of Independence, Iowa, born in Oelwein, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cyril Joseph and Mabel Frances Arthaud (Damge); her husband Dick of Mary's Catholic Church; and her brother Robert Arthaud. She is survived by: her children, Annette Kress, Mike Rau (Kim) of Aurora and Steve Rau (Missy) of Stanley; her grandchildren, Ryan Kress (Dawn) of Winthrop, Jonathan Kress of Winthrop, Blake Rau (Tiffany) of Aurora, Bryan Rau, Troy Rau (Tatum) of Stanley, Beth Albrecht (Scott) of Maynard, Tyler Rau (Madison) of Sumner and Tanner Rau (Amanda) of DeWitt; and her sister-in-law Pat Arthaud of Hazleton. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed in her name to the Aurora American Legion or Cedar Valley Hospice.
