We are sad to announce that on February 24, 2025, Louis A. Johnson of Independence, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Edwin Johnson and Evelyn Alta Johnson (Halverson); and his great grandchild Jordan Louis Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Anita Sue Terrones of Independence; his sons, Mark Johnson (Dorothy) of Oelwein and Greg Johnson of Littleton; his grandsons, Justin Johnson (Tasha) of Oelwein and Joshua Johnson (Kyla) of Jesup; and his brother Danny Johnson (Kathy) of Independence. He is also survived by 6 greatgrandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the White Funeral Home (1315 Main St, Jesup, IA 50648). A vigil service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Athanasius Catholic Church (635 Stevens St, Jesup, IA 50648).
Memorials will be directed to St. Athanasius Catholic Church, Jesup.
