She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester J. Cherry and Patricia A. Cherry (Ghere); and her husband James Bell. She is survived by: her sons, Andrew Bell (Ashley Beaty) of Marshalltown, IA, Nicholas Bell of Waterloo, IA and Matthew Bell (Larissa) of Independence, IA; her grandchildren, Reagan, Avery and Preston Bell; and her siblings, Lonnie Cherry (Tammy) of Winthrop, IA, Lorie Gericke (Kenny) of Quasqueton, IA and Lee Cherry (Michelle) of Walker, IA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Reiff Family Center - Independence (216 3rd Ave SE, Independence, IA 50644). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First United Methodist Church (201 4th Ave SE, Independence, IA 50644).
