He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Will Sand and Frances Sand (Kleitsch); his children, Larry Sand (Diane), Connie Frost (Don) of Raymond, IA, Linda Duffy (Gordon) of Fair Play, SC and Bill Sand (Sharon) of Dacula, GA; his daughter-in-law Lu Ann Sand of Independence, IA; and his brother Lavern Sand of Independence, IA. He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
