He was predeceased by: his wife Therese Corcoran Nosek; and his brothers, Ray (Irene), Leonard (Wilma), John (Ruth) and Jim (Maxine).

He is survived by: his children, Pat Freberg (John) of Needville, TX, Ann Toale (Richard) of Independence, Mary Donlea (Dennis) of Winthrop, Margaret Leonard (Brian) of Elkader, Bridget Donnelly of Independence, Dennis Donnelly (Lori) of Independence, Tim Donnelly (Cathy) of Independence, Brian Donnelly (Kris) of Independence and Emmett Donnelly (Delene) of Independence; and his sister-in-law Helen Donnelly. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
