It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leah Ellen Cook of Independence, Iowa, born in Atlantic, Iowa, who passed away on June 11, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Pearl and Lottie Causius Keffer (Wheeler); her husband Edmund Cook; her daughter Joyce McAtee; and her brothers-in-law, Ray Cook and Joe Dusil.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Davidson (Gary) of Hackensack, Sharon Wilson (Mike) of Omaha, Nebraska and Charles Cook of Amarillo, Texas; and her sister-in-law Bernice Dusil of Coggon. She is also survived by 13 Grandchildren: 2 Step-Grandchildren; 14 Great-Grandchildren; 2 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, social distancing and masks are suggested at the visitation and service.
