He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin McDonald and Helen McDonald (Andes); his wife Jennie Rohrbacher of Amana; his brother Francis McDonald; and his brother-in-law Donald Yates.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin of Burns, Shawn of Cedar Rapids and Michelle (Donald Tuttle) of Urbana; his grandchildren, Beth, Joshua, Dustin, Nicole and Daren; his sisters, Rita Driscoll (Elliott) of Williamsburg and Margaret Yates of Sigourney; and his sister-in-law Pauline McDonald of Cedar Rapids. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
