He is survived by: his wife Patricia Kuykendall (Summers) of Independence, IA; his daughter Angie; his stepchildren, Shannon Summers (Tracy) of Manchester, IA, Kimberly Coffelt (David) of Oelwein, IA, Kristin Cates (Tim) of Buffalo, WY, David Thomas (Wanda) of Albert Lea, MN, Joseph of Independence, IA and Marvin Thomas of Independence, IA; his siblings, June Crouch of Hamilton, TX, Jayne Payne of Hamilton, TX, Ruby Yuner of Hamilton, TX, Elsie Somerfeld of Hamilton, TX and Duane Kuykendall of Hamilton, TX; and his brother-in-law Carl Summers of Independence, IA. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren.
