It is with great sadness that we announce the death of June Elaine Stoermer of Independence, Iowa, who passed away on March 21, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillian Mourning and Clinton Mourning; and her husband Richard Stoermer. She is survived by: her sons, David Stoermer (Pam) of Ankeny and Jeffrey Stoermer (Kathy) of Burlington, Iowa; and her grandchildren, Bradley Stoermer of Ankeny, Kara Stoermer Clark (Eric) of Johnston and Shana Lundsford of Burlington, Iowa..

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for Bethany Lutheran Church.
