She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Fitz and Anna Denise Fitz (Thompson); her brothers, Frank Fitz, Jr., John Fitz and Russell Fitz; and her brothers-in-law, Dennis Wilkinson, Al Shinneman, Frank Cannon, Robert Smith and Roger Schulz.

She is survived by: her children, Anthony Fitz (Patricia) of Independence and Brenda Donnells of Jesup; her grandchildren, Nathan Fitz, Jacob Hill, Krysta Hill, Alanna Hepker, Xavier Fitz, Alexis Fitz and Zane Fitz; her siblings, Gene Fitz (Shirley) of Waterloo, Ronald Fitz (Janet) of Warren, Harold Fitz (Anna) of Bucyrus, Patty Shinneman of Westgate, Barbara Welsh of Estherville, Shirley Davis (Larry) of Oelwein, Marsha Schulz of Oelwein and Rhonda Smith (Chuck Jenks) of Fort Smith, Arkansas; and her sister-in-law Betty Fitz of Dubuque. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing will be required.
