Jean A. Main Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jean A. Main of Independence, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 22, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Isaac Knoll, Sr. and Jennie Margaret Knoll (Wignall); her husband Walter Edward Main; and her siblings, Dale Hyde, Thomas Hyde, John Knoll, Paul Isaac Knoll, Jr., James Knoll, Doris Hyde, Gwendolyn "Billie" Vargason and Mary Mulligan.

She is survived by: her sons, Timothy Main (Terri) of Waterloo, IA and Douglas Main (Kathleen) of Inverness, IL; her grandchildren, Nicole Welter (Cole) of Raymond, IA and Brett Main of Fitchburg, WI; her great grandchildren, Blake and Beckham Welter; her stepgrandson Trevor Dismore (Malea) of Waverly, IA; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Keerann and Linley Dismore; and her sisters-in-law, Gerta Knoll of Belvidere, IL and Eleanor Green of Des Moines, IA..

Memorials will be directed to the Independence Parks and Recreation Department.
